Safety in its simplest definition is being free from danger. Danger that has to do with damage, loss of life and properties. I say Safety begins with every individual so as to make life worthwhile and meaningful. There are certain things(activities /actions) we embark on without considering safety and this may be dentrimental to our lives and environment. For you to climb the stairs without slipping, light the gas cooker without exploding, purchase petrol in your vehicle without fire incident, slice the ingredients without cutting your hands, building structures without collapsing,etc is all because safety is built in them. Hence safety becomes paramount to our everyday life. We shall see ABC of safety in ensuring humans and its immediate environment is safe. A- Always B- Be C- Careful ...
